Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Murrie Jordan and Dicie Birge, her brother Carl Jordan, sister Vada Goulas, and her daughter Phyllis Murphy.
In 1985/86 she attended Lee College in Baytown, Texas and became a licensed cosmetologist. She was a loving homemaker, always there to see her sons off to school and always there when they came home to give them a hug and a snack.
She was a skilled seamstress and baker, a Sunday school teacher and a gardener. She believed her purpose in life was to serve others and was happiest when she had someone to care for.
Once back home he took after his namesake and launched into a career in the bread business with Rainbow Bread Company while attending Sam Houston State University and Dallas Theological Seminary in his spare time.As a young lad, you could find him outside tinkering with anything he could get his hands on, hunting and fishing at every possible opportunity as exploring nature was deeply rooted in his being, but sports is where he excelled at.He was the captain of the Willis High School football team playing offensive and defensive end and was an all-star catcher on the Wildkat baseball team.Kelley was born October 17, 1960 in Garland, Texas to Harry and Edwina Saul.After a 3 year long battle with myelofibrosis and leukemia he passed away on Kelley graduated from Conroe High School in 1979, then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University in 1985.She also loved her pets and treated them with love and respect. Memorial service for Kelley Saul of Conroe, Texas, longtime resident of Montgomery County will be held on Wednesday, July 18 at PM in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Chaplain Laura Ammon officiating.The family will receive friends in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors one hour prior to the funeral service starting at PM.She is survived by her children; Wayde Sullivan and wife Sherry of Montgomery, Texas, Michael Sullivan and wife Da Lonna of Austin, Texas, Carl Soileau and wife Patty of Whitehouse, Texas, Judy Ballew of Beaumont, Texas and Jan Lopez of Beaumont, Texas, 10 grandchildren; Leslie Holt, Cole Sullivan, Kase Sullivan, Riley Radford, Kyle Sullivan, Reid Sullivan, Angie Kowalski, Shawn Soileau, Joseph Brady, and Brittany Ballew; 10 great grandchildren; Blake Olivia Holt, Callie Coleman, Cammie Coleman, Cate Coleman, Kendall Soileau, Conner Soileau, Olivia Syphrett, Dub Syphrett, Rose Brady, and Mason Brady, brothers; Robert Jordan of Batson, Texas, Jerry Jordan and wife Becky of Batson, Texas, sisters; Sandra Kerr of Winston‐Salem, North Carolina, Anita (Cooter) Kunkle and husband Bert of Houston, Texas, and Jennifer Roussel of Houston, Texas.Her sons wish to thank the caregivers at CURA Health Services – Parkgate Home for treating Carolyn as though she was their own family and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for all they did to make her comfortable in the final few days. Ajay Mitter who went above and beyond his appointed role among those tasked with her care over the last year. Mitter vowed to care for her as though she was his own mother and did just that making sure she was treated with the best of care by everyone involved, often extending his rounds late into the evenings and early morning hours just to be sure he could see how she was doing each time she was in the hospital.He enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature as well as working on cars.
